Heating Services
AJ Parker Plumbing & Heating has been a Lake County fixture since 1905, when OD Parker first picked up his tools and started serving local families. Today, six generations later, we’re still doing what he taught us—taking care of our neighbors with honest work and fair prices. From the historic homes along the Chagrin River to newer properties throughout the area, we’ve seen it all and fixed it all. Whether you’re dealing with a plumbing emergency at 2 AM or planning a heating system upgrade, we bring 120 years of experience to your doorstep.
Serving Willoughby Hills, OH 44092 & 44094
Call or Text: (440) 942-3800
Main Office: 3919 Erie Street, Willoughby, OH 44094 Available 24/7 for emergencies—because your home doesn’t stop needing service when the sun goes down.
Ohio winters test your heating system every year, and we make sure it’s ready. We install, repair, and maintain furnaces and boilers from all major manufacturers, with special expertise in Rheem and Ruud equipment. Annual maintenance before the cold hits can prevent expensive breakdowns later, and our 24/7 emergency service means you’re never stuck without heat when temperatures drop.
Cooling Services
Lake Erie summers bring heat and humidity that can overwhelm your AC system. We handle central air conditioning installations, repairs, and maintenance to keep your home comfortable all season long. For homes without ductwork or spaces needing independent temperature control, ductless mini-split systems offer an energy-efficient solution. Regular maintenance keeps your system running efficiently and helps avoid surprise failures on the hottest days.
Plumbing Services
From minor annoyances like dripping faucets to serious problems like burst pipes, we handle every type of plumbing issue. Our emergency service runs 24/7 because plumbing disasters don’t wait for business hours. We install and service both traditional tank water heaters and space-saving tankless systems, and our leak detection technology can find hidden problems before they cause major damage to your property.
Backflow Testing & Prevention
Your drinking water needs protection from contamination, and that’s where backflow prevention comes in. We install these critical devices and provide the annual testing that local authorities require for properties with sprinkler systems or other cross-connections. Our team handles the installation, testing, and all required certification paperwork to keep you compliant and your water safe.
Boiler Services
Many Willoughby Hills homes along the Chagrin River still rely on boiler systems, and these require specialized knowledge. We’ve worked on everything from antique cast iron units to modern high-efficiency systems. Whether you need repairs to get through one more winter or it’s time for a complete replacement, we’ll give you straight answers about what makes the most sense for your home and budget.
What Sets Us Apart
Family Legacy: We’re not a franchise or a company that appeared last year. We’re the Parker family, and we’ve been serving Lake County since 1905. That kind of staying power comes from doing right by people.
Fast Emergency Response: Most emergency calls to Willoughby Hills addresses get a technician on-site within 30-60 minutes. We stock our trucks with commonly needed parts to fix problems on the first visit whenever possible.
Straight Talk: We won’t upsell you on equipment you don’t need. If a repair makes sense, we’ll repair it. If replacement is the better financial decision long-term, we’ll explain exactly why.
Any Brand, Expert Service: While we specialize in Rheem and Ruud, our technicians are trained on every major HVAC and plumbing brand on the market. Whatever’s in your home, we can service it.
Affordable Solutions: Major repairs and installations can strain any budget, so we offer financing options. We also provide 5% discounts for military members and seniors, and run seasonal specials throughout the year.
